The Comprehensive Strategic Partnership aims to strengthen economic ties between Australia and India by enhancing critical minerals cooperation, bolstering supply chains, increasing investment, and fostering co-development of mining and processing technology for sustainable growth.
In parallel, the Critical Minerals Investment Partnership is developing supply chains centered on Australian-processed minerals to support India’s efforts to lower emissions across large-scale electricity networks, manufacturing, EV production, and other areas of mutual benefit. Ensuring responsible extraction and processing is crucial to aligning this cooperation with NetZero and NDC commitments.
