Our Co-Founder and Lead Researcher, Titiksha Vashist, spoke at the Global Innovation Gathering (GiG) Community call on "Creating Trustworthy Digital Futures: Tackling Deceptive Design to Enhance Privacy Online", exploring the intersection of deceptive design, privacy, and consumer trust. The discussion highlighted the various challenges faced by Global South countries when it comes to digitalisation. Collaboration and capacity building within the tech policy space were suggested as key solutions. The speakers also emphasized the urgent need for enhanced privacy laws and digital consumer protection in the Global South.
